Really frustrated with EE. Upgraded on 27th March and told my handset, an iPhone 17 pro max blue 256gb, would be despatched within 7 days. The next day I get a text to say documentation is now available within the app. Nothing there, so call up for help. Eventually told these texts are automated and often sent before documentation available. It won’t be available until handset is dispatched. Again I’m reassured this will be within 7 days. So today a week later, nothing. Order number provided when I ordered still doesn’t work when trying to track so call up again and now told its within 7 working days, and will probably be longer. First time ‘working days’ has been mentioned. I asked if he could see what the current waiting time was for my handset and he just kept saying my order hasn’t been fulfilled yet. I then said if they were upfront to start with then I would have arranged for the phone to go to local EE store as I’m now away from Monday 6th until the Friday so if dpd try to deliver I won’t be there. Just said I would get my phone eventually.
I feel completely misled by EE and their stupid systems that don’t work. Why send a text for documentation available when it isn’t. Rant over for now.

@Bluefox42 , from what I have read, there is a delay in EE receiving stocks and it could be up to 28 days, so I would not worry if you are away for next week. Unfortunately it is down to Apple delivering enough in this colour and probably many ordering the blue one, just a suggestion, as it depends when customers order and how many they had at the time, they are also delivered on a first come first serve basis.

I’ve ordered too 1/4/26 and told it would be dispatched within 14 days but probably quicker I haven’t even received a confirmation text yet with an order number let alone anything else!

Email confirmation is usually sent within 24 hours of an order being placed if you've given us an email address for confirmation. Please check any junk/spam folders as well, just to make sure it hasn't gone into there.

But I can assure you, once stock is assigned to your order, further updates will follow.
