Hi there,

I attempted to purchase a PS5 Slim Digital model from the online EE Shop yesterday and ran into an issue. I went through the checkout as a guest, chose "PayPal" as my purchase option, and then successfully went through the PayPal page. When the page returned to the checkout on EE's website, it said "Payment failed".

As of now, I have a -£280 "authorization charge" on my PayPal account from EE Limited, the PS5 Slim is still in my basket and I haven't received an email from EE saying I've purchased the item. I don't have an order number from EE, so I can't check the order in the app on my phone. From looking up online, it says I need to contact the merchant to remove this or wait around 29-30 days (something I can't do due to Christmas spending) - and I can't find a contact number to get to EE customer service about my order, as they're all focused on Broadband services, or signing up to the ISP itself.

Any help would greatly be appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the confusion with your order, and I can absolutely understand your frustration with this. Are you a new EE customer, or were you ordering this as an addition to your existing plan with us?
