Iphone 17 pro max, over 28 days still no update

I ordered mine on 21.09.2025 and still have no delivery time, just the updates each week that my order is on track. Waited over 28 days, had a text saying we're sorry you have not received your phone yet, and other information on an apology level, but nothing with a time frame, estimated date! And my bill each month is sky high because I haven't received my phone, and my new contract will come into action only when I receive it. So not only is my phone delayed now over 28days time frame, my current plan is out of contract, leaving me £40+ in debt each month until my phone gets here. I ordered the iPhone 17 Pro Max in silver 256 GB. Like, does anyone even know if there are any in stock at all?

@Lauramatt19 EE receives them from Apple and ships them out on a first come first served basis so if anyone who ordered before you is still waiting you’ll be waiting a bit longer. EE don’t have stock because if they did you could order today and get it in a day or so, The demand is high and Apple are not just supplying EE.

I’m in the same position as you. Ordered on 23/09 and keep getting the weekly order updates saying ‘on track.’ I spoke with customer services and they can’t provide an update. They say there is a big backlog and they’re still on pre-orders being fulfilled, not sure how accurate this is though. But it’s quite annoying that it’s taking this long!

I ordered 25/09. It’s pointless ringing as they just don’t have a clue. All the different people on other posts saying that EE have said this and EE have said that. They’re just telling you anything to get you off the phone. It’s an absolutely appalling show from both Apple and EE.

I ended up cancelling mine, I’ve been waiting for ages; no compensation nothing; I’m not waiting over a month for a phone. I just told them to let me know when it’s in stock and I’ll think about upgrading again but for now I’m sticking with my 15 Pro Max. My contract ends in December but they said I could upgrade early; I might just get a sim only deal at this point when it runs out

Our hours of work are; Monday & Tuesday Closed, Wednesday to Saturday 9-6pm, Sunday 10-12 noon.

I waited 33 days and then got!

Our hours of work are; Monday & Tuesday Closed, Wednesday to Saturday 9-6pm, Sunday 10-12 noon.

Messages received on Monday/Tuesday may not be responded to until Wednesday.

I received mine on 29/10, so I waited a total of 35 days. Was worth the wait though, I’m really enjoying it. I suspect you won’t be waiting long for yours now either!

I didn’t order my 17 pro max cosmic orange 256 until mid October but haven’t received any email updates at all.

i can’t even see anything on the app. It’s like nothing has happened.

EE are just ignoring customers until the item is dispatched. It would be reassuring to know they have your order and they are aware of you.

I ordered mine on 22 October and don’t expect it will arrive anytime soon.

However, I did expect an order number and some kind of acknowledgement from EE that the order was successful.

I've just had a look at our stock page, and it's stating that the phone has a wait time of over 28 days if you ordered the device on he 22nd of October.

If you ordered via our live chat, the avisor should have sent you over a link where you can see the order and your terms and conditions.

The form gives you the option at the end to download, which details the order.

Did you manage to download the form when you were connected to live chat?
