topic ID for phone in Orders

I know this question has been asked many times before but I'm hoping one of the EE specialists can confirm if what I'm asking is ok, otherwise I will phone up EE and get my order cancelled.

I've searched for my passport and cannot find it, I don't have a driving license. But I do have my government issued photo bus pass (the reason I don't have a driving license is the same reason I have a bus pass and I'll never get one issued). Now when I was on holiday last year I did take a picture of my passport pages on my phone for safety in case I lost it there, and I'm now appreciating why I was told to do that.

Anyway, when DPD come to deliver can I show them either my bus pass or the photo of my passport? If not, I'll just go and cancel the order as it will take a few weeks for a new one to be issued.

Thanks

A bus pass is a local authority issued photo bus pass sanctioned under Act of Parliament & is not acceptable.

I'm not sure they will accept a photo of your passport but you could try to get a Verified EE ID with it.

Hello @mbro ,

Welcome to the community,

When DPD come to deliver your device, you should have received a PIN number, which you show the driver, which should be enough to enable you to accept the device. I would suggest you sign up to DPD with the same email and mobile number so that you can get the PIN number and can receive the device.
