topic Customer service in Orders

I have tried, really tried with EE. My order started 17th November, I have a referral code for half price sim deal, made my order. I realised I made a mistake and accidentally ordered the sim twice and contacted EE, I was told by customer service to just activate 1 sim an no the other and it will be cancelled. I waited over a week and no sim arrived, contacted EE customer service on 29th November for an update for them to tell me my order was cancelled because they thought it was a duplicate order. I requested my sim deal and another order was created and sent to me, I waited. My sim did not arrive even though I was told it should take 2 business days to arrive so I contacted customer service again on the 4th December, they said my order was on the way however because I was going to be charged by both EE and my other sim provider due to the time my order has taken that my account would be credited £10. My sim still hadn't arrived on 6th December, I contacted customer service for them to say the sim had never been sent and that they would now send the sim to me, I explained all my issues so far and this was noted on the order. The sim finally arrived on 10th December however would not activate, I contacted customer service for help at approx 20:00, nothing was working and I was told to hang the phone up and reset my network and that I would be phoned in 5 mins by the customer service representative, this never happened, I phoned back at 21:00 and was informed that the phone lines are closed. My experience with EE has been a nightmare and my issue is still not resolved

Hi @Rhysblackburn Thanks for getting in touch with us and letting us know about your experience.

It sounds like it's been very frustrating for you so far, If you'd like to make a formal complaint about what's happened, you can do that by filling out this form

Usually to activate a sim, you'd just need to attempt to make a call, if that doesn't do the trick, you can fill out this form to get the line activated: Activate sim
