placed on 11th for black sony xm4's no mention of dispatch time just "dpd 2 days delivery". Would be nice to have some sort of time frame. Why cant i cancel an order that hasnt been touched for days

Welcome to the Community.

Did you purchase this from the EE online shop as an add-to-plan, or did you purchase it outright from store.ee.co.uk?

All orders can be cancelled while they are pending to be dispatched.

I'd recommend downloading the DPD app and as soon as this has been dispatched you will be notified with the tracking details.

I paid up front on the EE.co.uk site. NOT store.EE nothing else to it.

It says it cannot be cancelled. i have been stuck on "order placed" and have been told there is no dispatch time.

it starts with EE. Ive spoken to the electronics team already and all they can tell me is that the order is placed and thats it. cant cancel it.

Nevermind, discount was too good to be true, no stock afterall so trying to get them cancelled now

I am also still waiting for this, hours in phone queues with no resolution. Since I have ordered (9/11/24) there has been two price drops, so there clearly must be stock, or EE must be taking payments without.

Not being able to speak to the correct person on the phone, or simply cancel the order is totally unacceptable.

I also ordered the Sony XM4 headphones as the price was too good to miss out on, but am in the same position.

I spoke to EE team and they said they can’t give an update on stock as they don’t know. But I saw this morning they were available to buy at a higher price.

Same here, to the point where I wondered if it was a very elaborate scam. No way of talking to anyone about it either as there's no phone number involved...

Also does your order number start with XK or something else?

The EE store. Order starts with EE. I have tried In vain, to speak to someone but unless it’s about a phone it’s impossible, as they want an EE phone number, which I don’t have.

If you don't have an EE mobile, you can reach the EE Electronics team, who handle the orders starting with EE, on 08000790062. They are available from 9am to 6pm over the weekend and 9am to 7pm on weekdays.
