&lt;P&gt;Thanks for coming to the community.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you are taking out a new contract, you'd automatically be allocated a new random number but you do have a couple of options if you didn't want to use that.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have a number on another network that you want to use, you can get a port authorisation code (PAC) from them to move the number to EE.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Alternatively you can contact our &lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee" target="_blank"&gt;billing guides&lt;/A&gt; when you are up and running to look at the option of changing the number. You can have another random number allocated for £35.75. There is an option to choose the last four digits of a number for £86.81 or the last six digits which gets a lot more expensive.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It does depend on whether a number is available and on EE.&lt;/P&gt;
