Hey I’m a international student in london i just arrived two days ago can i get a phone on contract as I don’t have any credit history but I’ll buy your plans for contract

Welcome to the EE Community, and I hope you've been enjoying your time in the UK so far too 😊

We're not really able to speculate on the potential outcome of a credit check, as we use data from the three main credit reference agencies in the UK and the decision is based on a wide range of factors.

It may be tough if you don't have an established credit history here in the UK though, as getting a new phone on contract is viewed as a financial agreement.

We do sell phones to purchase outright though, so if you weren't able to get a credit agreement you can still buy a new phone then get one of our pay as you go SIMs that don't feature any contract or bills.

There's certainly no harm in trying though, and if this didn't go through our team will be happy to look through your options.
