Ordered mine yesterday, was told it would be about 2 weeks time. Strange how they have demos in shop but not any for actual customers to have now!

I did a chat today said they’re launching on Thursday so maybe they’ll
bring it forward for you? Think Google are a bit funny and place embargo’s
until release

Hi there,

The Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL launch this Thursday (22nd) so shipments should hopefully start leaving DPD tomorrow or Wednesday. You can download the DPD app for instant updates when this happens.

The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Fold do not release till 2nd week of September, Along with Pixel Watch 3 and Buds Pro 2 late September.

I understand how frustrating it can be to see demos of devices, especially when u wanna get your hands on them yourself! It shouldn’t be too much longer to wait

It's ridiculous how hard it's been to find this information, there's such little transparency about when then 9 Pro is launching.

I among others have expected the 9 Pro to launch the same day as the 9 Pro XL and online information has suggested this too. I even asked Google's own Gemini when the 9 Pro was launching and it said all 3 phones were launching August 22nd 2024.

So naturally we're all feeling a bit disappointed our pre-orders haven't arrived today and we'll be waiting another month.

I absolutely agree! It's frustrating when there's a lack of clarity around product launches, especially for something as highly anticipated as the 9 Pro.

In 2024, we should expect companies to have the technology and communication channels to provide transparent updates and manage expectations. A simple, clearly visible announcement on the EE website or through targeted notifications would go a long way in preventing confusion and disappointment.

I also cannot track my order. I don't even have an order number. I received a text message at the time of ordering over the phone. I've since called and asked about this and was told I wouldn't get it until they had the phones, and it looks like it will be 28 days until they will be sent out.
