I thought DPD had to deliver to a person. My new phone was just left on my doorstep - they didn't even ring the doorbell but I just got a text to say it had been delivered. I thought I'd seen somewhere that DPD could NOT leave a new phone in a safe place (not that this was safe). Very dodgy. Quite concerned too, as I'm still waiting for another delivery from them.

@Ms_M They should be requesting to see photo ID. You need to report this back to DPD.

Yeah, tried to do this but it isn't straight forward to make a complaint on the DPD website when you have received your parcel.
