Welcome to the community.

@Northerner could be right. If you live near an EE store though, they can get you a replacement SIM so that you're up and running quicker.

It’s not a right solution for me, the EE shop near to me is closed when I’m free from work! I choose the on line purchase , because it’s impossible for me go to the shop during working time. I don’t know why it’s so difficult for EE manage that business. I’m deciding to cancel the order ! I just wasting time! I’ll choose company more professional! Thanks.

I think EE need to accept some responsibility here (my personal view). Royal Mail are striking and there's severe delays. EE send SIMs out 2nd class which has always been questionable to me. EE should be sending via a third party courier at this time. If it was me, I'd be asking EE for a credit to cover the time you don't have the SIM. Direct sales are saving EE a fortune in commission, I think they can afford the postage costs.

Please do not just cancel the direct debit. It will go against you on your credit report and you'll suffer years of credit problems for something you can easily sort out by talking to EE.

I agree with your stance. It's likely that EE have a contract with the royal mail to use them for sending out SIM's

EE do provide a different option to get the SIM card IF the device is capable

Anything newer than the iPhone XS can use eSIMs
