topic iPhone 14 Stock Enquiry in Orders

Looking for feedback from others who have ordered the iPhone 14, particularly the iPhone 14 - 256Gb - Starlight.

Ordered on the 19th December while stock status was the following:

In stock
Usually despatched within 1 day

Checked again at the time of writing:

In stock
Usually despatched within 1 day

All I have at the moment is the xkoxxxxxxxxx order number but no dispatch email, which leads me to the opinion that EE are taking orders that they claim they have stock for - but they don't. This would be a very dubious practice indeed - and one worth investigating!

Before I finish, as a tech journalist, I know the position of the iPhone Series availability globally.

However, if EE don't have them in stock then they should be stating this online and giving people the chance to proceed with an order or not.

Why take upfront payments stating stock is available when they haven't got stock?

So my question is, are there other who have ordered from EE seeing that stock is available only to find out that this was a lie?

Yes, but, don't hold your breath for next working day delivery, DPD are managing expectation due to a variey of factors. Your XKO is a web order, and will be processed but you can call 0800 079 0531 ... that's a number I had ages ago and they are the web sales team

You can also see the impact on DPD at DPD (UK) - Service Updates
