iPhone 14 Pro Max in GOLD

EE website says expected to dispatch in 21 days, but when I ordered it on phone they told me 14

ordered the iPhone 14 pro max in gold in 128gb had no confirmation since I ordered of what’s happening?

30th of October. Just with it being close to 14 days now I thought I would of heard something but I’ve heard nothing

You should receive your delivery notification text either on the evening before or the morning of your delivery.

I'd recommend downloading the DPD app which will notify you as soon as they schedule your delivery.

This is standard. I ordered the 256GB Pro Max in Black on the 28th October. Still nothing. Apple have had massive production issues since one of their factories had it's workforce walk out over conditions.

There was a very similar thing last year when I ordered the new 2021 iPad pro. Ordered it early May, received it on the 24th June, ended up waiting 52 days for delivery.

It's like this every year with new Apple products as they are in huge demand and often the demand far exceeds the supply, so new orders go on "backorder" and orders are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis.

As @James_B said, if you download the DPD app and enter your address it will notify you when you have a delivery due. This works for anything shipped by DPD and not just EE parcels. EE will ship with DPD as they provide a good next day delivery service that is reliable in my experience. EE only ship very small items or letters with Royal Mail under normal circumstances.

I understand this but the website says expect in 21 days but the guy from EE on phone told me 14 so do you guys actually know when you will have them in stock? I’m hearing people saying they got told another 4 weeks

In my personal opinion and my experience of Apple's delays.... give it a few more weeks. I'd say late November to early December.

Also note that on the website it will say "Usually dispatched within 14/21/28 days" etc, sometimes it says something like "Expected in over 28 days".

This is a guide. It does not mean that EE have stock. It means that they anticipate it to take 14/21/28 days but it could be longer.

If it's in stock now, it will show "in stock". If you wanted to you could call EE on 150 from an EE mobile and change to another model or variant of the same phone, people often do this if another capacity is in stock but it doesn't appear that any are in this case.

Sometimes by changing to a lesser or higher capacity it's less popular and therefore it's in stock more frequently as there's less demand for that capacity of phone, as you've gone for the 128GB you can't go any lower.

Yes. Based on current stock levels which frequently change. The "Usually dispatched within x amount of days" is a guide and not a confirmation, hence "Usually". It's to give you an indication of how long it might take. If it's not in stock when you order it generally you know it's likely to be some time, especially if it's an Apple product which sell like hot cakes.
