Delivery info

I have recently ordered some tech add ons to my iPad account. It says that DPD will contact me with tracking info via SMS, but you can’t receive SMS on an iPad unless it’s an iMessage. Does anyone have any idea how I can get the information i need to track my parcel. EE’s order tracker is giving me any information either.

If you have an EE SIM in your iPad, you can receive texts from EE in your messaging app.

Thank you for the response. I've had text from EE saying thank you for adding tech to you account etc, but I can't receive updates from DPD with the tracking number and delivery date and time.

Didn't know if there was another way to receive these.

Hi @JimmyQ79,

You shouldn't have any issues receiving the text with your tracking details when it is sent, but as a backup, you can download the DPD app to receive automatic delivery notifications.

Thank you for your input, but the only text I receive on my iPad are from EE.

I have tried registering on the DPD app, but it sends a verification code via sms to the number you supply (the number I have on my iPad), but I never receive it.

Could you try inserting your SIM into your phone to receive the verification text?
