Why does EE have the longest faffy returns process, been told today that it could take a month to sort a return out! Not very good if you’re a long distance lorry driver and you old phone is broken! Come on EE get this dreadful process updated!

Thanks for your comment, why is that 90% of online shopping returns can be taking back into a local store but not with EE. Surely a quick visual inspection, start the device up make sure the screen is ok and no personal data is left on and jobs a good un 🤷🏻 It seems like EE are hell bent on taking returns back!

@Carlwwraith You’ve never been able to take an online or phone sale device back to a store. The store can not process that return as the store is there to sell.

I meant online shopping in general, all high street stores are there to sell but most accept returns. You can buy from eBay pick up from Argos and return to Argos if need be. It’s not rocket science to put a software update on the check out computers in store to accept returns. If a phone/device is bought in store it can be returned to the store, I ordered the phone delivered to store where it had to be processed on the computer to complete purchase. It’s just a case of delaying returns and making it as awkward as possible .

Hi @Carlwwraith,

I wouldn't expect your return to take a month. Your returns envelope will arrive within 2-5 working days and your phone will be processed as quickly as possible once it arrives back at our warehouse.
