Hi alldo anyone know if we sending out preorders early like samsung.com are. They sending out preorders 5 days early on 21st September

@Shaunhastings70 It just says on launch day. You’ll probably find Samsung are doing this because they want you to purchase from them directly.

I thought the z fold 4 release date which was announced at the press conference was August 26, the official date by samsung if you pre order.

I have also noticed how a few people do seem have the fold z 4 unless those are just review units.

Where did you get September from.

no worries.

I can also see from the samsung website that they have now also changed their date from the 26 August to the 21 August.

Can any member of EE staff confirm if this will be the date for your customers who have pre ordered or not.

Or will will be still waiting until 26 August.

Make sure if you haven't already download the DPD app because you will also get a notified by the app when you will get a delivery as Checking the status of an order through EE is not always accurate.

I have gone through this process for many years, especially when it comes to pre orders with EE.

Samsung website did state pre orders date will be from 26 August, which was also confirmed in press conference.

The date as now changed to to 21 August.

I can't seem to track my fold 4 order. Ee website says it's not a pay monthly order but it absolutely is.

So I can't see if EE have adjusted to the earlier launch date. Samsung still have stock for the 21st if you want to cancel the upgrade and buy direct. Samsung also have been sending out bonus 100 pound vouchers .

If your order has been confirmed and gone through , you should receive a email/text with a reference/order number on it . If you have not got this I suggest to get back in touch with EE.

If you have got these then all you need to do is click the link which will confirm your status of the phone. Also download the DPD app which will also provide accurate information from the courier when your item will be posted out.EE tracking service is not the best when it comes to pre orders.

Thanks for info .I have got order confirmation but it's saying awaiting delivery information and stuck on that page .. Hopefully I will get this preorder before it's out in stores otherwise really isn't a pre-order is it EE

I am in the exact same position also.

Once we get a date and confirmation it will be out for delivery ,we will get an email/text from DPD confirming everything even if the EE status does not change as the EE tracking service is not the best at times. Too many years of being with EE and experiencing this .

Fingers cross if we do jot get it early it should be the 26 August depending on how much stock EE got and who pre ordered on what date . (That's how it use to work , so not sure if that is still the case or not)

I'm in the same position as you and probably others.

We just have sit and wait even if we are all eager to receive confirmation and the item.

The official release date is 26 August . If we get it before then it will be a bonus.

I made my pre order 10 August before the press conference even ended.

Hi there, did you get an email/txt with a reference number? As I only got a confirmation email. I am on contract though so not sure if that's why I haven't received a reference number.

I have an email and a text to confirm my order and to check the status of my order. My text confirms my order number. You should be able to check the status with email/text.

If you don't have a order number contact EE. Also download the DPD app because once your order is ready you will be notified by the app and also get an email to confirm the order. DPD app more accurate than EE as they are the ones who will ship our orders.

Hi thank you for getting back to me. Really appreciate it.

I phoned up and got my order number but it doesn't do nothing for me. That's what they said would happen though the only time ill know is when i get the dpd txt/notification to confirmthatits getting delivered. I'm trading in my note 20 ultra. I'm on contract and still have 7-8months to go. Has anyone's delivery status changed? I heard some people got fold 3 early last year from EE? Can anyone confirm this?

I placed a pre-order for the Fold4 on August 12th. I did get all the confirmations from EE to say the order had gone through.

On August 19th (last Friday) I got a text message saying "your order is on track". A rather pointless notification but, whatever.

Since then, the tracking page says that the order is "on track" and that they're awaiting confirmation of the expected delivery date.

My best guess is that EE are maintaining the original date of August 26th, i.e. this coming Friday, and that we'll get notification of the shipping on Wednesday or Thursday.

I doubt anyones delivery status would change at the moment and if it did we would get a notification from DPD ,as they are the ones who will be delivering our folds.

My guess is we should hopefully get a DPD notification some time on Thursday of this week or the latest Friday to confirm our deliveries. (That's if EE we get them for 26 August). Not sure if it will be on the basis on who pre ordered first from 10 August and so on and so forth , working they way down to later dates and how much stock they get.

I never got my fold 3 early even though it was a pre order. So not sure how anyone else did on EE, unless they can confirm this.

I got my Fold3 a week early last year but that was by ordering direct from Samsung immediately after the "Unpacked" event and trading in a Z-Flip 5G, not through EE.

I would be very surprised if a carrier released the phones early.

Even if we got the fold 3 early it would not make any difference in this pre order at all, as they are two different complete pre orders done at different times over the years.

Should anyone get a notification from DPD the best option would be to let others know . That way we have a good idea that the deliveries will be going out and fingers cross we will all get one .
