Hi there, I had an interview around 2 weeks ago for an apprentice sales advisor role, 5 days after the interview I got a call from a number that belongs to EE, I tried calling back but the "mailbox was full". I emailed the BT recruitment team and they said they forwarded my email to the "relevant team" when enquiring about the outcome of my interview, I have still not received a reply, but I haven't received any form of rejection so I'm unsure as to whether that number was calling about my interview.

I can appreciate you'll want to get an update following your interview.

When was it you sent the email to the recruitment team?

Was it through the Careers Enquiries contact form?

If you've not used that form yet, it is worth filling it in, and someone will get back to you within 3 working days.

Hi there Michael, and thank you for your response.

I sent the email to the BT recruitment team on the 22nd of September, and the help desk responded 3 days ago telling me that they have forwarded my email to the relevant team, and it was not through your recommended channel, I will be using that, and thank you for your help.

Hi I have also since had this problem, I had a 1v1 interview 14th August, I had my RTW documents taken, and was also prompted online to do it, since then my portal has been sat “in progress” since 1st September. I have sent emails through the ticket channel and still not heard anything.

Does this mean I was unsuccessful or not?

If you log into our Careers | Employee Login site you should be able to check the status of your application.

If you still need to speak to someone, I'd recommend sending another request online at Careers enquiries - Contact BT | BT Plc, where a member of the HR team will get in touch.

It’s still stuck on “in progress” on my online portal but I haven’t heard anything since.

I’ve called HR who gave me an email address, I’ve sent an email across and received no response. I also used that ticket as well where they’d say they’d pass it onto the relevant team and again I have received no response.
