Offering money as compensation doesn’t fix the real issue. They should focus on improving their service instead of just paying people off.

It's frustrating how companies like EE are quick to offer money as compensation for their poor customer service and mistakes. While it's a nice gesture, I'd much rather they focus on doing their job right in the first place and providing good customer service. No amount of money can make up for their errors, like messing up the cancellation date and charging extra as a result. I don't want their money, I simply want them to fulfill their promises and provide the service they claimed they would. Money doesn't resolve the underlying issues. They need to improve their service and stop mishandling customers' money, rather than just throwing money at the problems. It's like someone making cold cups of tea and offering refunds to every complainant. Instead, they should focus on making better, warm cups of tea in the first place.

They were supposed to close my account on the 30th of last month, but due to a mistake, they set it for this month instead. As a result, I was charged even though I had already disposed of the SIM card, thinking I had left. I need to get a refund for this error. While they offered to return the money, I'm more concerned about the serious mistake that has left me in debt with another bill when I was supposed to no longer be with EE and have my number cancelled. Thankfully, I hadn't started my new contract and paid that bill. Even though the representative said he could get my number deleted in 24 hours, there needs to be a waiting period until the end of the month. Also, I don't want to hear about getting money back for the time I haven't had my phone and have been paying. I just want them to do their job correctly. - Money doesn't solve or fix things like a relationship or in this case making errors, providing bad customer service well having people pay more money because of a mistake they made

Not every customer has this sort of issue and normally customers don’t have a problem but occasionally problems do happen, it’s a part of life. Your getting the money back as your Instructions wasn’t carried through correctly this is not about covering the issue with money it’s about a refund that you shouldn’t had to pay in the first place.

Well people do have issues and different types and that is life like you said but mine was an example but companies like EE do tend to try give compensation, money as a way to say sorry obviously what I stated was about getting a refund which as mentioned was a must getting my money back but some things may be done and all companies can do is go .. here's some compensation, some money to apoligies or will offer like my partner has been regarding his router not working and going back to the main post/main point maybe the reply wasnt relevant what I had put to someone but it's still not the point but thanks for your input though which dosent change the facts! Facts are facts
