1600 busiest home bundle ethernet speeds?

Just moved from BT to EE and went for the 1600 bundle. I'm getting 1400/1500Mbps on my iphone, the same to my PC over wireless, but only around 940mbps over the ethernet. I have a ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II motherboard and I'm using the 2.5gb network port directly connected to the hub with CAT 7 cable. Is the EE Smart Hub Plus incapable of over 1gb when wired?

@Wonderloaf The hub can not achieve over 1Gb over Ethernet.

@Wonderloaf The EE Hub only has Gb ethernet ports, so you are never going to get more than what you have now with that Hub.

It is a well mentioned complaint on here.
