    <description>&lt;P&gt;It all depends on what type of server you want to create. It's not just the PC as a whole per se.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For example, you might want your PC to act as FTP Server. Then you'd install some FTP Server s/ware on it &amp;amp; open port 21. You see, port 21 goes with an FTP Server &amp;amp; so on, particular ports for specific servers.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Port Forwarding - Issue finding Internal and External Ports.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Quite a specifc subject but I still am struggling to find what to do although seeing online many videos giving advice on how to get your port itself from the command prompt using "netstat -a". Although that, I am confused on what figures I have to look at and put in, in the attached image below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="solone07_0-1720010766221.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/32244i4D0B05A8E332FC50/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="solone07_0-1720010766221.png" alt="solone07_0-1720010766221.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What exactly do I place in there?       <description>&lt;P&gt;Just what are you trying to port forward? Whatever it is should tell you what of its port need forwarding.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Port forwarding is used so a remote user can access a server running on your LAN w/out you 1st soliciting them. So only incoming ports need forwarding.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
