We have had ee smart hub, the hybrid and thee smart extenders in our church centre. One extended is LAN wired and working well and when you look at the app it is Ethernet connected.
However we have two more and I have taken a LAN wire and used a splitter but can’t get an Ethernet connection only WiFi. Any help appreciated.

@CDE13 What do you mean when you say splitter is it a switch and what type model is it? You have taken one ethernet from EE router Lan to ideally Switch on its uplink, then on the switch one ethernet cable from switch lan to smart wi-fi device, and another from another lan on switch to the other. To test plug Smart wifi, one at a time into the uplink cable to the router, That will test the cable back, if it works for either/both then suspect switch is not working.

Thank you. I have taken two LAN cables from the Smart Router. One directly into one ee extender and one into a splitter from which I have taken two different LAN cables each to a second and third extender. The LAN cable direct to the 1st extender identified as a Ethernet connection the other two extenders through the splitter show as WiFi I have tested the LAN wires and they come up as correctly working. Again thanks for the help.

With such an Ethernet Splitter you can only use one of the connected devices at a time as only a single IP is issued at the router's Ethernet port. If you actually want to use them simultaneously, you need an Ethernet switch or hub instead.
