Just had FTTP installed and its working well. Issue is that my old router used a different IP range - and all my media devices/servers are hard coded (for remote admin reasons)

I've tried to change the Gateway Router Address in the IPV4 settings but on save then reconnecting/resetting the wifi, I cannot log back into the router on new address or old one. In fact the (unchanged) wifi password is rejected.

There seem to be no online manuals for the SH+, has anyone successfully changed the network IP range to a 192.168.xx.0/24 from default one?

I've used many more complex routers and multiple networks but not had this issue so I must be missing something

Thanks for any help/advice

On the Advanced Settings > My Network > IPv4 Config page can't you change the 3rd part of the Preferred DHCP Range when set to Custom & the Gateway IP Addy in line with it? Then Save.

Not much info on the latest EE router, But I guess it depends on the IP rage you were using.

Make sure you don't have a clash. and better to setup with just router and single network cable connected to your device, if new ip not being assigned to your connected device have a look at it's network properties and you may have to reboot it. Always better to power cycle router once you have saved your changes to take effect.
