Just renewed my broadband and telephone contract but BT have moved me to EE , broadbands working fine , but they have put me on digital voice keeping my existing number .

However i can make calls fine and my number shows correctly on the persons phone , but when you try ringing the house phone number the phone does not ring ,the person ringing gets a ringing sound like normal ,its just the house phone does not ring so you don't know someone's ringing.

If i plug the phone back in the old analogue socket then it works fine for both outgoing and incoming calls

Any ideas ?

Thank you

It sounds like the port has not fully completed yet.

One thing to try before giving the care team a call, use a dangly filter between the router and the phone.

HTH.

Transfer from BT apparently was on Thursday 16th , but as it is same line etc didn't notice any change as old BT router was still working when i got in that night , i then swapped for new EE one they sent me and i then got an email saying about digital voice will transfer in 48 hours ,

I've tried the filter but same result

Just reached out to customer services and they said to allow 3 working days

Just noticed that it used to say under last service registration on the phone part on hub a date and time but thats changed to N/A

Service says ready and if i make a call it changes to in use
