Port forwarding

Hi all hope you can help, just setup my hub and trying to Port forward I.e 4282-4285 and saved it.i check on Port checker and it states that they are closed.i have recheck windows firewall that the ports are still on there which they was.if I plug in my b.t hub it works.any advice please by the way it's ee smart hub plus thanks

Which router?

Is the server for which you opened those ports up & running?

What does ShieldsUP! report the status of your ports when you use its All Service Ports & also your opened ports with User-Specified Custom Port Probe ? Are they shown as "Closed" or "Stealth"?

It's smart hub sh31b

The servers are up and running fine.

The ports show closed when I plug smart hub in, but open when I plug the b.t hub in.
