EE Broadband blocking websites

Hi all,

Last 2 weeks I have noticed that using my EE Wifi I cannot access certain websites anymore. I haven't set any parental settings and I don't even think there is any settings as I only have broadband account. Could it be that EE randomly blocking certain websites? If i use my mobile data then website do work as normal.

Which router do you have? Or are you using the EE WiFi public network?

It is the EE Smart router

Regarding which websites, I can't publish them here. Blocked sites I have encountered would be abroad sites where I used to watch some movies in other languages etc. Nevar had an issue with that since this month.

It is not 1 site as I said. It has multiple so far.

@Gochix2021 not sure how to help if you cant sat what the websites are. If they are legit there could be ways to reach them, but as you can't say what they are ......

So you are saying that it is perfectly normal and legal from EE to black some sites which they think are dodgy? If I'm paying for the service I would like to decide what I want to access and what not.

Share a site , or all we can presume it is not legal/filtered/restricted for some logical reason.

It's perfectly legal for EE or anybody else to block pirate sites by Court Order.

If EE have blocked them and you have the parental site check box off in the app, and the other checkbox for other stuff it blocks, then you would need to get a decent paid VPN so you can browse the internet freely.
