topic Using Smat Hub with full fibre in Broadband & Landline

HI, I've signed up to a full fibre service and would like to continue using my EE Smart Hub. I've connected it through the WAN port no.4 and turned the WAN port 'on' in settings but can't get an internet connection. Is there another setting I should change in the Smart Hub? Thanks

I'm going over to Gigaclear 150 as I can't get EE full fibre yet. I'd still really appreciate your advice as the EE Smart Hub would work so much better with my existing setup. I hope you can help? Thanks

Have you set the GigaClear's PPPoE BB Username & pwd in the SH?

@stevenorgate Gigaclear do not use the same way to connect as EE or any other supplier on the Openreach network. In addition the upload and download speeds are the same, unlike EE, PPOE is not used so it is unlikely your EE Router will work on Gigaclear.

You need a router that can use DHCP to connect - I am sure Gigaclear will be able to supply one.
