Unable to opt in to EE WIFI

I'm unable to log into the public EE WIFI hotspots. I think it's because I might have opted out at some point in the past to disable the public hotspot on my router. I've tried to opt in using the link below but it just says:

Sorry, we weren’t able to opt you in. Refresh and try again or come back later.

How can I opt in and get access to the public hotspots?

Are you on an EE New BB plan? You don't get it with legacy BB.

I'm not sure, how can I tell? It was signed up in Feb 2023. The plan is:

Full Fibre Max Gigabit without landline

That's a legacy EE BB plan, not eligible for EE WiFi.
