There is no label on it - it is an EE Smart Hub. Just opened the app on my phone and see in the hub manager it is set to 2.4ghz ON and 5 ghz ON and SMART channel 100. I will raise the issue with the Mitsubishi engineer service call soon. Many thanks.

I moved into a new home with a Mitsubishi air source heat pump installed. I have tried to set up the Melcloud app but cannot get it to pair with my EE broadband router, and the adapter and wifi router is in the same room. I have followed the set up instructions to no avail. It seems that the App only works on a 2.4Ghz wi-fi band and needs to be IPV4 - how do I check these settings on my wi-fi router? I am not technical, so easy to follow instructions please would be welcome.

The label should be in the slider at the back.

Login to your EE SH/SR at http://192.168.1.254 with the admin password on the bottom of the slider label on the back of the router.

For the black EE Smart Hub, but not the white EE Smart Router, try separating the wireless bands/SSIDs. On the Advanced > Wireless Settings page of the SH there is a button near the top to Separate the Bands. Turn it ON. Then the 5GHz SSID will appear starting with "5GHz-" & the 2.4 GHz SSID not starting with "5GHz-". Then connect your devices to the 2.4 GHz SSID if they can't do 5GHz. The white Smart Router doesn't allow this.

Can you be more specific about "there is a button near the top to Separate the Bands"? I have looked at the Advanced > Wireless Settings of the Smart Hub and cannot see that button. Thanks for your continued help.

Hi @SusieP3 These are the steps you need to follow.

Open a web browser and click on the address bar

Enter 192.168.1.254 and go to the page

Click Advanced settings

Click Wireless

You can toggle the buttons Off and On underneath the 2.4GHz and 5GHz

If it is the EE Smart Hub Plus, you cannot separate the wireless bands/SSIDs. The most you can do is on the Advanced > Advanced Wireless page to temporarily disable the 5 GHz band & move off the Smart channel while connecting problematic 2.4 GHz devices.
