I don't have full fibre yet, so need to keep the router close to the master socket, but that is not where I need the internet so the plugs and a switch help solve the dilema.

Hi would I be able to use these BT mini connector plugs to improve my signal on the new EE smart hub plus? The signal is ok but would these boost it? Will it work?

Hi @Eastie19

If the signal is ok why do you need these adaptors. You won't get any more benefit.

Thanks

The wife just showed me them in a box she found under the stairs - just wondered if they would work with the new ee smart plus ?

But they could be used for a variety of things in an area where you may not get a good signal.

I have assumed they are these - you can read more about them :

Thanks very useful - so I’d need to keep one plugged into the ee smarthub plus and could plug the 2nd one into my upstairs mini box ?

I use them between my router which is downstairs in the kitchen, to connect devices in my lounge. To make it even better, I then connect a small switch to the plug, which then allows me to connect my TV, Satellite Box, Sonos oh and my Hue Hub. This make for faster and more reliable connections than if I was just using WiFi.

HTH
