I've also just picked a sw10a from ebay and I can't get it to connect to my ee router via wireless or via cable, did you manage to get yours working?

Good evening, I've picked up a new smart wifi extender (Sw20A) From ebay and I can't get it to connect to my smart router either via wireless or wire. I've looked online and there doesn't seem to be much info on it. I've followed all instructions/guides and still can't get it to work. All help is much appreciated.

@Rolystaxi : Do you have the white Smart Router? The new white Smart WiFi Plus is intended for the black Smart Hub Plus.

Good evening, I'm trying to find out what the model number is for the black smart hub plus. As I want to use the white smart WiFi plus with it as it doesn't work on my white router. Thanks in advance.

Afternoon all, I've got the white ee WiFi extender (sw10a) what I want to know is what model number router do I need to ask for to use with this extender. I've read it's possible that I need the SH31B hub. Any help would be much appreciated.

I already have the SW10A as I thought it would work with my current EE router but it don't so I'm looking at getting the SH31B as was told thats the router i need to be able to use the SW10A

Where did you get a Smart Hub Plus (SH31B) if it's not yours?

The Smart WiFi (SW10A) is not compatible with the Smart Hub Plus (SH31B). For that router you need the Smart WiFi Plus (SW30A).

There was one on ebay I'm.just trying to work out what one I need. This is my current one.

You have the white EE Smart Router. The round EE Smart WiFi Disc is compatible with it. You'll see a pix of it in Setting up Smart WiFi under the EE Smart WiFi Disc tab. I dunno its S.N.
I understand that the Smart WiFi (SW10A) that you have was supplied by BT with the BT Smart Hub 2. It is not compatible with the EE Smart Hub Plus (SH31B).

Let's have a look at the back of your Smart WiFi (SW10A).

It looks like the same back as the EE Smart WiFi (2023) of Setting up Smart WiFi . Perhaps you need the EE Smart Hub (2023) of Set up your Home Broadband EE Router to go with it? Believe its model no.is SH20A.
