Broadband down in Mansfield?

I have no broadband in the Clipstone area of Mansfield. Tried following the helpline suggestion of texting FAULT, but it just bounces back 😞

The website says to text help to the same number (66033), but that bounces back too.

The router is showing red, which on another post I saw means the router has died?

I need help, but can't contact anyone 😞

Suggestions?

Yes, RED light usually means router faulty. Try a factory reset.

Forest town down too.

Spoke to EE, after a long confusing discussion with BT. There is an outage in whole area due to be resolved midnight tonight. Sit tight, keep router powered up, should resolve itself when they fix the fault

Not that simple. All automated testing is redirecting broadband tests for EE customers to BT. There is no easy way to get through to EE without speaking to BT first and speaking to Legacy EE (not New EE). Their system too clever for its own good. It's all confused by BT test equipment which is causing the redirect to BT customer care, not EE.

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult BT Service Status to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area.

@Rob-mansfield : What's not easy about a Factory Reset? It's just a hole in back of router!

If BB is down your area router would be flashing Aqua.

Well, it came back on all by itself, must have been just after 8pm. Thanks for the suggestions guys, much appreciated.
