I have just switched to EE Broadband and they have sent me a Smart Hub Plus. The power plug (the barrel connector that plugs into the back of the router) is different from all previous connectors. It seems to be 3.2mm/1.1mm with a red tip but I cannot find this specified anywhere. I want to power the hub from my 12v UPS, but I would need the right cable and I cannot order one without knowing the exact connector size. The electrical requirements (12v/2.5A) is well specified, but not the connector size. I could cut and splice the EE supplied adaptor but I would prefer to keep this in reserve.
