I've been trying unsuccessfully to open some ports that are required for a game from my PC. I've recently changed from BT Smarthub 5 to EE full fibre but the basic router functions are the same. I've added a rule for ports 2302-2303 internal and external, and set to UDP/TCP. I've selected the machine I'm playing on. When I check any port checking website, it says they're closed, and when I check ShieldsUP! it states everything is stealth.

I have even gone so far as disabling the router firewall and windows defender firewall, and the ports still show as closed on websites including on ShieldsUP!, although while the rest of the ports show as stealth, the two ports that have rules show as closed in this scenario.

I do have a DDNS entered on the router, could this be relevant? At this point I'm at a bit of a loss.

Can you test it w/out DDNS using its current public IP?

Hi, it's not a server, but my desktop pc. It's just a couple of ports that need to be open to run ArmA3 if I'm hosting the game. I've tested using the DDNS and the IP, same results with both.

Are you trying to connect to an ArmA3 game being hosted somewhere remotely or are you yourself running an ArmA3 game on your PC that you want remote others to connect to? The latter is a server.
