Hi Guys - bit of an odd set of circumstances preventing me from swapping out a smart hub. I can log onto the smart hub and see my BB username but not the BB password (quite righty obscured for security reasons). When i look at the help sections my username convention (xxxx.Orangehome.co.uk) does not feature which prevents me from deriving the BB password.

I have tried live chat and normal help channels to resolve the problem but seem to be hitting a wall as i do not have a EE mobile number not landline to kick the enquiry off!

Any ideas greatly appreciated

You BB pwd is 1 you choose when you 1st joined EE BB or its predecessors. If you can't remember it you will need to call CS & request it.

So is mine! But I can get it from CS.

Try calling CS on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2 > option 4) . That won't ask for an EE mobile no.

There is no reason why you can't talk to BB CS w/out having a landline no.

If you know your Broadband Username you can work out the password from this help page:

https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/broadband-and-landline/home-broadband/what-are-my-home-broadband-internet-settings

PRODUCTIONHQNUN123456@fs

If your username looks like PRODUCTIONHQNUN123456@fs, your password will look like HQNPASS123456. Simply replace the numbers in the password, with the ones found in your username.

No need to phone CS, and is not the one you chose unless this is a very old account.

Reread the article you link, ignore the PRODUCTIONHQNUN123456@fs section that you quote & read the yourname.nodename.co.uk@fs section above it:

.If your username looks like yourname.nodename.co.uk@fs, you chose your password when first signing up for the service. Remember, passwords are case sensitive.

Every reason to call CS when you forget it.
