Can I upgrade my Fibre broadband mid-contract?

I'm looking to switch to EE's broadband from another provider. I'm not sure which speed I need, so I was considering starting the 2-year contract with Full Fibre Max 100 and then if the speed isn't good enough, potentially switching to Full Fibre Max 500 afterwards (mid-contract).

I have two questions:

1) Am I able to do this without incurring cancellation fees (or any other fees)?

2) I'm an existing EE monthly mobile customer so I will get the discounted rate when I begin the contract for Full Fibre Max 100. Will I still receive the discounted rate for Full Fibre Max 500 if I switch?

@luxwolfe Have a look at this, Below. I’ve got Fibre Plus broadband is it’s perfect for my/our needs. We are constantly streaming TV programs while there are 1 or two devices connected to the internet at anyone time. My daughter has just moved out so it’s even better now. We never had any issues in the last 12 months and before this I had Fibre Broadband and we did exactly the same then as we do now and didn’t have any problems with that slower speed also. Just remember faster speeds sound better and it’s a selling point because we all like the sound of faster is better.

Standard broadband – EE’s ADSL service with average speeds of 10Mbps. Suited for people who live alone or households with two occupants

Yes you’ll be able to increase your speeds if needs be. ( I doubt you will ) you’ll just pay more for it. And yes you’ll still get the reduced in cost. You’ll also receive 20Gb of data for a contract sim on your EE account. I get this so I can actually get a cheaper phone tariff with less data because of this.
