Higher Payments and Full Fibre

So how do we find out when an area is going to be switched to full fibre?!

Despite being sent an email telling me that I could switch to a lower payment after ringing I was told I couldn't as full fibre was coming to our area and I'd have to pay over £4.00 more for the privilege!!!!

You can check which broadband services are available in your area on the EE Broadband area of our website.

Thank you, however when I clicked on it it all it did was tell me I was already a customer! I put in another houses number in the same road and it said full fibre only was available, despite the person on the phone at EE being unable to say if the area had been switched over.

The cost interestingly starting at £29.00 for new customers (at present I'm paying £29.69) when she said to upgrade to full fibre would cost me £33.97 per month, I'm not impressed!

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.
