I'm having the same issue I contacted EE regarding a home move Which the said there would be a charge which I didn't mind. I have moved and found the internet to be shocking and changed provider.

It has now come to my attention they have set a new 24mth contract up without information me and now trying to charge me to cancel when my old contract was coming to an end

Mis-sold broadband

EE sold me broadband after falsely claiming they covered.y address. They now expect me to pay a fee to cancel the contract even though they can't provide the service they agreed to.

I was due to renew broadband 5 months before moving home. I therefore engaged with EE via chat confirming they could provide broadband at both addresses. They confirmed both houses could be covered by EE so I bought the broadband. When I moved house they then said they couldn't cover the new address and that I had to pay £162 to cancel my contract. They've since halfed that to £80 but I've still been ripped off by them.

I've raised several complaints which have been ignored. How can EE mis-lead me into buying products that aren't suitable then charge me for their errors.

Which EE BB package did you have?

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker on your new addy.
