Had update tonight on my smart hub.

Any changelogs? Still no ipv6

WAN side IPv6 is a network side change, not a hub side change AFAIK. Assuming that to be the case, you can't expect IPv6 via hub software update, it's dependent on it being enabled out on the network.

i.e. the hub is ready; just needs the network.

You won't get any changelog from EE.

IPv6 would require a change to the EE BB network, not the router, & that hasn't changed.

Can anyone please tell me HOW do I show evidence that my smart hub is being updated?

If you look in the logs, it tells you if it is being updated
