Change router/fibra socket location

Hi,

currently my router and fibra socket both in downstair, which it make me having very poor signals upstair.Is there any way to change the socket or router to upstair. I have tried using wifi booster, but it doesnt work well. And I dont want a 10 meter cable go though from downstair to upstair. I have phoned EE asking them if possible to change the fibra socket location, they answer is no.

Any advise please.

EE should to be able to do it for you, by calling out OR, for a charge of about £25.

I called them, they say they cant do it.
