It is due in our street in the next month, about the time my contract expires. I don’t intend to start a 2 year contract if I cannot take advantage of FTTP

Sent from my iPad

If it is Openreach then you should be able to get any of the services offered by EE.

However, if it is another provider such as City Fibre or one of the alternative providers then you would not get FTTP from EE.

Have a look here which should tell you if it is Openreach coming to your area.

Depending on how soon or later after they may want you to start the contract again.

Cost may be more than your current resigned contract, so were it me I would give the Broadband Care Team a call, make sure you know current competitors prices, so you have something to aim for.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

When FTTP becomes available to you it will appear in that table as "WBC FTTP". You could stay on your present EE BB until it does & then check on EE BB Availability for "Full Fibre". At that time you should be able to upgrade to the Full Fibre of your choice via your online MyEE under Broadband > Change your broadband plan
