I am moving house and wanted to set up a broadband package in advance of my move in date so that the broadband was available on or shortly after my move in date. When I go to purchase a package online EE asks me when I moved into the property (past tense). Can I purchase a package in advance of moving in, and, if so, how many weeks in advance? If I wait until I have moved in, I could be without Internet for several weeks.

You can't start your BB at the new property before you move in as this will impact on the present occupiers' existing BB &/or landline & they could put a stop to it when they are informed someone is trying to take over their line. The best you can do is order EE BB there 2 weeks before you move in & hope it goes live on or not long after you move in.

Do you already have BB with EE at your present property? If so, you should be following EE's How do I arrange my move?
