FTTP Broadband switch from BT to EE process

Hello, I currently have FTTP 900/110 with BT and am looking to switch to EE to avoid BT price hikes and also as I use EE for my mobile phone and so everything is all in one place.

Do I place the EE FTTP broadband order the day after my BT broadband deal ends or can I place the order before the deal ends but specify the day after my BT broadband deal ends?

BT BB has a notice period of 30 days unlike EE's 14 days. So I should place your order with EE 30 days before your BT min. term is up but specify the day after your BT BB deal ends to ensure the least overlap in contracts.
