FTTP slow late night

I've had no end of trouble since joining EE with full fibre 500 2 weeks ago. Today i was sent a new router and touch wood things seem to be on the mend.

One thing that isn't fixed though is a huge drop in speed at night (around 2300 onwards). Congestion shouldn't be an issue (both time of night and FTTP) but i'm dropping from 300mbps+ to 12mbps or even lower. In the morning it'l be back up to normal speeds.

I don't know why but i have a feeling Sky Q's mesh and the no end of issues people experience with that may be causing the issue but i can't put my finger on it.

Any ideas?

Does this happen every night at the same time?

Does restarting the router help at all?

Hi,

Yes it happens every night at roughly the same time. Ive done multiple resets of the router and it does nothing. After having a good day yesterday with speed (but rubbish at night) its now back to its rubbish daily speeds too. I think i will just cancel. I cant pay for 500mbps and smart wifi and get 70mbps. No one seems to have a clue how to fix this
