Left my ex but EE broadband in my name. Don't know if he paid it

I moved to Farnborough in Hampshire 360 miles away from Manchester and the EE broadband was in my name.

He was so violent and abusive that I had to move back to Manchester in October after 6 months. I don't know if he's paid for everything or not, i was unable to terminate the contract without EE speaking to him. I got a broken eye socket from him for trying to find out. He doesn't live there any more and I'm unable to find out anything. Please Help!!

Hi @Downtoearth.

I'm so sorry to hear this I hope you're doing ok.

If the broadband is in your name, you should be able to cancel it yourself. Did our Customer Care team say why they needed to speak to him?

Hiya they said that because was in both our names, yet being paid by me.
They needed confirmation from him and he refused to give it
