It'll cost about £1.19 pm. I presume you have as you have a 1&1 email addy.

That email addy will work through the 1&1 email servers as part of that eMail package over the Net. Nowt to do with EE at all who are just providing you with a gateway to the Net.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & it is now sorted.

To all,

I'm currently in the process of moving to EE-BROADBAND & LANDLINE PACKAGE from another service provider. I also have a 1&1 IONOS domain web address with a live e-mail address that I currently use. However, what I can't remember is, what I did or the service provider did to ensure my 1&1 IONOS e-mail address continues to be live. I seem to recall a forwarding/redirect setting was required from the e-mail address supplied to me from the service provider, but can't be sure. If so, I guess the same applies to EE when the switch takes place. In any event, can someone explain how I can keep my 1&1 IONOS e-mail address to remain live.

Your previous ISP probably supplied you with an email addy and you wanted to forward them to 1&1. As EE don't do email you won't have this problem.

Hi XRaySpeX,
Thanks for clarifying, so, the redirecting/forwarding only applies to ISP's that provide you with an e-mail address it appears. That must be what I recall happened with my current provider.

I didn't realise EE didn't provide an e-mail address with their BROADBAND & LANDLINE PACKAGE 🙄. I had a similar conversation with EE on this subject & that wasn't clarified, oh well, no problem in my situation I guess as 1&1-IONOS host my e-mail/web address.

I'm still wondering 🤔 though how a domain e-mail address, as you note, will continue to work when you switch ISP's & this I mean via my PC e-mail client (software) MS-OUTLOOK.
