Routers and DLM prefer to be left on, otherwise it can lead to lower speeds if the router is switched off too often.

I'd like to set a schedule when the router turns off and on.

I've been to 192.168.1.254 they only say to go to EE home app.

I don't see anything about access controls on myEE.

Anyone know how to set up schedule?

Thx

You don't set the router to actually turn OFF/ON; you set it to block your devices from accessing the Net during certain periods.

Which router have you? With the black Smart Hub you can set Access Controls on the router itself. With the white Smart Router you need to set Access Controls via the EE Home app. This is not the same as the MyEE app. Look in your app store for it.

Hi @Damien6666

You could always use a smart plug on your router plug and set a timer.

Thanks

My smart plugs I can set on and off times. The OP wants to be able to turn it off.

My parents have always switched there router off when not in use, never had issues with speed. If you're watching your spending on electric then turning it off over night or when not in use is something people might want to do regardless of how little the cost maybe.

Thanks

As long as you don't switch the router OFF/ON too often, say only once or twice a day, it will not affect the speed or stability of the connection.

Go to Crome as it seems it is the only browser that lets me put in my iP address of your router

hub manager should come up
