Feature Request - Wifi Optimiser

Hi There im not sure if this is available already and im missing it or if its something that could be considered for future changes.

We have the abolity to change modes on the app so work mode, game mode etc, what would be more usefull is to have a timed setting so you could set up your hub to go to work mode between 8 and 5 monday -friday or put game mode on at certain times etc and save the manual need to go into the app.

Is this available and if not can it be added as a sugestion?

Do you not want the best connection regardless?

I never understood the idea of this as it seems utterly pointless as you might as have a setting for when you go shopping or to the gym. I want the best connection at all times and with fibre this should be a no brainer.

My Understanding is you the connection you have is the connection you always have, howevere by switching to for instance Work more it prioritises teams and outlook data over any other data on your line, so you have have little gremlins off on school holidays watching YouTube and downloading game updates, it will always prioritise your work data over theres. SO it absolutely makes sence and ive seen it make a difference.

If you have a 1000Mbps line it will make no difference unless you are running an arcade hence my point in this day and age it's a legacy product unless your connection is maybe less than 500Mbps

Also most home workers use a VPN connection to the office so your connection is reliant on the VPN not your home line.

I agree with some of what you're saying @Northerner but not sure I'm entirely on board with this. Many corporate laptops these days use zero trust applications rather than 'traditional' VPNs. My corporate laptop is one of them and when I'm using Teams etc. WiFi Enhancer is able to recognise that and 'boost' accordingly.
