    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/457620"&gt;@rabl&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Have a check on your EE Hub, see if it feels overly warm to the touch, can be one off the reason's that the wifi frequency bands shut's down and your Lan stay's up so the EE Hub is in a survival mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you say green light up do you mean it's Aqua in colour, green is one off the Hub lights showing and does get real hard to distinguish the Green/Aqua colour difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Although that EE Smart Hub 7 Pro version as you do mention the SH40J has been recently FW updated to the one you mention all you can do now is keep an eye on it, the Factory reset you have done will have flushed it all back to operation state, but if you can DO NOT do it again..... Last two below gives you the idea as to when/what has been happening, and the FW update pinned link also display's but the Pro is now showing completed status as EE have updated the table....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;FW: r4.29.1-R-1930437-PROD-1 and the gui is at App Version 3.14.5 27/07/2026&lt;BR /&gt;FW: r5.16.1-R-2011329-PROD-1 and the gui is at App Version 3.17.5 20/08/2026&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;smart hub SH40J&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;firmware&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;r5.16.1-R-2011329-PROD-1&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yesterday our wifistopped working broadband ok green light still on hub pc connected with lan ok, looked at the wifi settings page 2.4,5 and 6 all switched on, checked with network analyzer on phone cant see my my EE WIFI at all. switched hub off for 20secs and back on wifi came on and worked for 10 mins then disappeared again switched off for 20 mins same thing worked for 10 mins then wifi disappears again. Tried factory reset&amp;nbsp; same thing after 10 or so mins. tried switching 5 and 6 ghz off etc and back on tried guest mode and compatible mode no difference&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Left it off over night and tried again this morning,still on after 45 mins but worried it will go off again has anybody experienced this&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;aqua, yes it does feel warm at top vents but wouldnt say overly so no reference to what it normally is ,this morning i did sit it on the window sill near open window will have to monitor it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/457620"&gt;@rabl&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Way to do it, make sure it does not get warm though direct sunlight etc, overly warm is if you cannot keep hold off the unit then there is an issue, but it will be warmer nearer the top more than at the bottom.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's always hard to say, the MORE the wifi on wireless get's used etc then it does get pushed more to the limits and will build up heat that is just unavoidable, but hears hopping that the new FW update has NOTHING to do with it at all.... You've not had any heat issues or instant switch off's like now before?&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":thinking_face:"&gt;🤔&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
