topic Wrong password? in Broadband & Landline

Have just joined EE. One problem: whenever I try to connect anything to the router I get "wrong password". I have certainly copied the one on the tab/underneath the router with infinite care. The laptop and PC connected successfully via the WPS button and mobile phones via the QR code. But neither of these routes covers a printer or an Amazon Fire tablet. The printer can run on a USB cable but the tablet is useless without the internet.

I believe I can alter the password but at the moment I am afraid to embark on that for fear of screwing everything up! I don't understand how the password can be "wrong" -- the router came straight out of the box and was just plugged in by the OpenReach man.
