The Engineer visit was part of the package we ordered, I’ve asked if the line could just be activated and I’ll set up the equipment but no go. It’s fixed line, we’ve been sent, eventually , a Mobile Mini hub to tide us over but even that was a mess, as the first order was held up by EE. So I needed up with two complaints, what a mess.

We ordered Broadband on 15th July with installation on 28th. The equipment arrived ok but no sign of the Engineer on 28th. Despite calling them many, many times since then and multiple apologies from EE, THREE supposed urgent referrals to their investigations (Bridging team?) we still have NO BROADBAND.
I cannot understand just how or why EE cannot sort this out, incompetent dosnt come into it, how come a company providing broadband as its core business can’t provide broadband?????????????????????

@Eviekitty Depending on what you are doing connection wise that you do not say, if an OR Openreach Engineer does not trap or EE have messed up the order, does not sound like that as your Equipment arrived time wise i assume, then you go back into the pool for the Installation visit, my case was an Automatic 21 Day delay, then OR phoned on the second Installation date wither it be correct or not was informed EE had cancelled the install date on the morning of the Installation, but as OR new it had to happen they said they had resurrected it there end and if i did not mind they would come later in the Afternoon to install the FF Full Fibre connection, the two man OR team came, were here less than 1 Hour done and dusted no issues, not even going to go into the twenty or so automatic messages from EE that HAD to be responded too.... That was a FTTC to FTTP upgrade.....
